Although his tone was still severe, at least he took Mu YingRui into consideration. “You think I don’t want you to divorce her? If I wasn’t afraid of that ruining your career… You bastard! Why do I have such a trouble-making son?”

Old General Mu said to the Mu Zhong standing on the side, “Mu Zhong, initiate the family laws. Take First Furen to the ancestral hall and have her kneel in repentance to the deceased First Furen. She cannot have food, drink, or visitors for three days. She’s forbidden from leaving the Manor for two months. Withhold her monthly allowance for two months. Take First Laoye and hit him ten times with the board. You personally administer it.”

Wang Yiping and Mu YingRui were stunned. They cried out.

Mu YingRui’s loud voice directly drowned out Wang Yiping’s cries for mercy. “Father, father, son no longer dares. Don’t hit son. Son is still injured. How can son report to work?”

Old General Mu saw his son’s lack of a backbone and was more disappointed. He himself was a strong and determined man who didn’t even blink facing death. His youngest son was like that too. One person surrounded by more than one hundred enemies could be calm like a mountain. But this eldest son was afraid of just ten hits?

He had no backbone whatsoever. Who knew who he took after? Anyway, he didn’t seem like his own son.

It seemed like while he was fighting wars outside, his wife spoiled their first son. Old General Mu continuously shook his head while walking out of the study.

Mu YingRui’s ten hits with the board were not spared. Wang Yiping was dragged into the dark ancestral hall and knelt in front of Dier’s memorial tablet.

Of course, both hated the other in their hearts!

Mu YingRui hated Wang Yiping for many things. If not because of her, he wouldn’t flayed by his father.
